UH-HUH…. YEEEEEAAAAAHHHH BOOOYYYYYYYY! The Birds have sharpened their talons and are ready to spread their wings tomorrow as the STYFL kicks off the season with a round robin scrimmage featuring each of the STYFL clubs. We’ll be covering the scrimmages tomorrow and providing some video footage, pictures, and sideline reporting of the event.The boys have worked incredibly hard and have made a ton of progress in the past month. Tomorrow will be a great measuring stick to see how we stack up against the competition. Rest easy little birds… tomorrow morning we will rise up and serve notice to the rest of the league that the Eagles are indeed the team to beat as we head into the regular season schedule!

Well, unfortunately Chris and I had the pleasure of watching the scrimmages from the side lines. As you know, Chris recieved unfortunate news yesturday and he will not be able to play for the remainder of the season do to the enlarged spleen issue. He wanted me to let you know that you guys looked great and he wishes you all the best for the season to come. He will be there at the games on the side lines to cheer you on and proudly be part of the Eagle Family…. Thank you for all your support. DO THE LITTLE THINGS RIGHT, AND BIG THINGS WILL HAPPEN…

I know I speak for all of us when I say how badly we all feel that Chris won’t be suiting up this year. Hang in there buddy… we’ll gettem’ next year!
