Hey all… the Ball family just wanted to extend our best wishes and hope that you all have a wonderful and prosperous 2008! Just think, the football season starts again in about 8 months! Not sure about y’all, but Drew’s pretty pumped.
Perhaps you hadn’t heard the news, but rumor has it that Coach Gene is going to return to the MM Eagles again next season. I think Coach Romel will be joining him. I think there’s a third coach, but I can’t remember his name at the moment. Guess that blows my chances… oh well, I’ve got a web site to attend to.
Not sure if anyone’s interested or not, but Drew’s considering attending the STYFL scrimmages and skills training session in February. I’ll set up another post with the details in a week or so.
Also, wanted to send a quick shout out to the Oregon Ducks who completely dominated the South Florida Bulls in the Sun Bowl on New Year’s eve… 56-21. Not bad for starting a 5th string quarterback. I’ll tell ya… the Duck’s may not have been the best college football team of all time, but had they stayed relatively healthy they would have laid the smack down on any of these BCS teams! What a shame… just glad the seniors were able to go out winners.
